On behalf of all the staff, children, parents, carers and Academy Council, I am delighted to welcome you to the website of The Meadows Primary Academy.

At The Meadows, our mission is simple: Excellence for Everyone, Every Day. We are ambitious for every child and are committed to ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to thrive, achieve and develop into the very best version of themselves. We believe that excellence is not just about academic success; it is about developing confident, resilient and compassionate young people who are ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Our six core values are at the heart of life at The Meadows: Resilience, teamwork, aspirational, respectful, kindness & curious.  They define what we mean by personal excellence and provide the foundation for how we learn, behave and work together.

Our children are at the centre of everything we do. We want them to be excited by learning, proud of their achievements and confident in their own abilities. We provide a rich and ambitious curriculum alongside a wide range of opportunities and experiences that help our children discover their talents, develop their interests and build the skills they need for their future.

We know that children flourish when schools, families and communities work together. Strong relationships with parents and carers are therefore incredibly important to us. We value your support, welcome your views and believe that by working in partnership, we can give every child the very best possible start in life.

The Meadows is a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive school, and I am immensely proud to be part of it. Above all, it is our children who make our school so special. Their enthusiasm, individuality, determination and sense of fun make The Meadows a wonderful place to learn and work.
